Mars and I spent about 4 hours in the REI camping stores last week!!  

We both picked out new backpacks:

 Here's what we're planning on putting inside:
Clothes
2-3 T-shirts
1 tank top
1 pair pants with zipper off legs to turn into shorts
1 pair drawstring pants
1 pair shorts
1 bathing suit
1-2 weeks of underwear
1 long underwear bottoms
1 long sleeve shirt
1 fleece coat
1 rain/wind breaker coat
1 rain poncho
1 waterproof lightweight sun hat
hiking boots
hiking sandals (to be worn most days)

Gear

duffle bag (for when we have to check our backpacks on the planes)
